Brahmos Missile
National News: The terrorist attack in Pahalgam shook the entire country. Innocent people lost their lives in this attack and the role of terrorist organizations thriving in Pakistan was clearly visible behind it. India decided to take strict action immediately after this attack and airstrikes were carried out on terrorist bases in Pakistan and occupied Kashmir. This operation was named 'Operation Sindoor.' This action of the Indian Air Force not only destroyed the terrorist bases but also gave a message to Pakistan that India will no longer remain silent on any provocation.
Pakistan, panicked by the Indian action, hastily dared to fire several missiles on India. Along with this, it also carried out drone attacks so that pressure could be created on India. But the Indian Air Force and Army were already fully alert. In this confrontation that lasted for four days, Pakistan failed on every front. Its missiles and drones could not make any impact in front of the Indian security system. The result was that Pakistan's strategy backfired on it and it had to face embarrassment at the international level as well.
At the Defense Summit 2025 held in Delhi, Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, Deputy Chief of the Indian Air Force, made many important revelations related to Operation Sindoor. He said that the Indian Air Force had to fire less than 50 weapons to bring Pakistan to the table for a ceasefire. This statement exposes the real situation of Pakistan, because the country, which often gives threats, came to its knees under the pressure of so few weapons. Tiwari also said that it is easy to start a war, but it is very difficult to end it. Therefore, the army has to always be active, alert and prepared so that any situation can be faced.
On the morning of May 10, the Indian Air Force attacked some important bases of the Pakistan Air Force with Brahmos missiles. These attacks were so accurate and devastating that Pakistan's military structure was shaken. According to sources, the attacks in Jacobabad, Bholari and Skardu badly damaged many military installations of Pakistan. These attacks broke the morale of Pakistan and caused severe damage to its war capability. The Indian Air Force took this action in a very strategic manner, which completely destroyed Pakistan's will to wage war.
After continuous defeats, Pakistan's position became so weak that it had to beg for a ceasefire from India. Within just four days, the situation became such that by evening Pakistan officially sent a proposal for talks to India. This was the same Pakistan that was threatening war till a few days ago, but all its arrogance vanished in front of Indian power. With the ceasefire, it became clear that Pakistan is not in a position to face India for a long time.
According to Air Marshal Tiwari, Pakistan often boasts about its missiles and weapons. But Operation Sindoor brought out its reality. With the use of less than 50 weapons, Pakistan felt so much pressure that it had to kneel down. This is proof that Pakistan's power is limited only to papers and statements. The capability and accuracy of the Indian Air Force proved that taking India lightly can prove to be costly for Pakistan.
Through Operation Sindoor, India not only gave a befitting reply to Pakistan but also showed the world that it will not tolerate terrorism and cross-border attacks. This action has further strengthened India's image on the international stage. Global powers also accepted that India took the full right step of self-defense and action against terrorism. This operation made it clear that India's forces are ready for every situation and now any aggressive step will be answered immediately and accurately.
